One of those really hot days, our AC upstairs was struggling.  We spend time on the lower level and the only thing on TV during the day is Congressional testimonies.  It's sad.  First thing that hits me is that how old all these Congress people are.  I'm not a spring chicken but these people are old.  The second thing is that it is predictable.  The Committee members are more interested in using their time denoucing each other, rather than asking any meaningful questions of those giving the testimony.  And even when they get around to addressing the "experts", it's always along party lines.  

My impression is we need to vote all of them out.  They've all been there too long, they are petty and hostile.  How can they possibly be acting in the best intesst of their constituents? Jim Jordan needs to take it down a notch - he's become a charicature of himself.  The Black representaives can't seem to get over their own blackness, so everything is about race.  It's discouraging.  And then of course, there are those that won't let the expert answer the question, before they are cut off and dressed down.  

Is this any way to run a government?

What is really sad is that at this point the only way to get to the truth on the Biden family corruption is through an impeachment inquiry in the House.  We know that both the DOJ and FBI are hopelessly compromised as partisan political hacks.  The evidence of that is overwhelming, as is the evidence that the Biden family extorted tens of millions of dollars from foreign actors in exchange for specific actions on the part of the Big Guy while he was VP.  We need to know if Biden's actions toward Ukraine and China are in the best interests of the country or a result of a threat to release damning information regarding their corruption. 

The House is left with no other choice and frankly would probably be doing the Democrats a favor by getting rid of Biden for 2024 so they can run Newsome, etc.  This inquiry is vital to our national interests and goes way beyond partisan politics.

My biggest fear is that Republicans and will talk abou it and do nothing.  I have long had a gut feeling that Biden is somehow getting kickbacks from Ukraine.  We already know China has Joe in their pocket.  I have a feeling that he and Zelensky are getting rich off the war, although I have no proof.  Just a gut feeling. Instead of just tossing good money after bad and depleting our military equipment (that we will have to replace at a greater cost), these continued support should be tied to successful military objectives.  I always get the feeing when someone says that we have to stop Putin now or else terrible things will happen, reminds me of the "domino theory" that was pitched to us back during Viet Nam.  

I just find it terribly discouraging to think that we are nothing more than a 3rd world country, fighting over crumbs, while our politicians get rich.

New ones become "old" ones once they are swore in. Just look at 3 "new" ones on the Right who add nothing of value as to helping the country move forward...Green, Santos, and Boehart. Green holds up naked pic of Hunter... what does that prove?  Green and Boehart get into an argument  over the use of "bitch". Santos....complete loser.

Now, we are going to have an investigation into Jordan and his time as an assistant college wresting coach.

What is really interesting is to read politcal releases when someone is running for office and what they do when elected.

And yes,the left has some new members who are more interested in a single issue than what is best for the country.

I think an impeachment inquiry is all they need to do at this point.  Let's have all the evidence presented and hear all the testimony and then the American people will  understand that not only is Biden suffering from dementia (just watch his rambling with the President of Israel), is a congenital liar (most recent was his claim he cured cancer) but he is utterly compromised by the ChiComs, Ukraine and who knows who else.  If the Dems keep him as their nominee and he wins the election then we get the results we voted for.....assuming we don't have the same level of cheating as we saw in 2020.

By the way, did you see the latest from Hunter's legal team?  They called the court and pretended to be a member of another legal team that had filed a brief with lots of new evidence that the judge should consider as to whether to accept the sweetheart plea deal.  She asked them to remove the file from the docket, which the court did.  When the falsehood was discovered they re-entered the document.  If I were the judge I would reject this plea deal and tell the DA to come back with a sentence that is typical for someone that pleads guilty to tax and gun crimes.....which means a felony conviction and jail time.

What do the H. Biden pics represent?  I believe it was related to Biden's attempt to deduct the price of plane ticket to fly  this prostitute across state lines. It is reported that there are over 400 felonies alone documented on HBiden's laptop.  He was paying for hookers to travel across state lines and DEDUCTING the expense.  If it were me, I would be all about trying to get a sex trafficing charge investigated by our impartial DOJ.  Good luck with that...
