Most of us know socialism does not work and has never worked ... why leaders of countries (including our own) continue to think it is the answer is beyond me.

We know of the collapse of Argentina due to socialism, now we are seeing the collapse of Greece and Spain and Potugal are on the brink.

When will we learn that government does not produce anything, so therefore can not provide anything without taking from the people.

The more government provides, and the more people that depend on that, the fewer there are to take from to fund the social "good".

It leads to destruction of will and success, since individuals are then penalized through the government taking more.

It seems so logical ... I am amazed why people on this board, like GF and Archie, continue to defend what is the destruction of not only our country, but society.

WW, using failed and socialism together falls into the department of redundancy department. Socialism has never worked but the leftist wing nuts will probably tell us that it has only been because we haven't given the Messiah the imperial powers that he seeks so he can be the first. Don't learn from history and you are doomed to repeat it.....
