Have heard from multiple sources that RL considers the cleanup done in Windover. That would be a major disappointment since it was made so much worse by the logging and the huge piles of debris left right next to the road. Those will never be "natural" looking. Surely enough was made on the wood to burn rthe piles of garbage left over! Anybody know what's up?

I was told they are not finished. I think we should give them some credit for the herculean effort put into the clean-up which some predicted would take years. And I think the result so far is hardly "worse" than it was before!

For what it is worth, when I flew out of Montgomery one morning a few weeks ago the sun and clouds were perfect to observe the path of the tornado......there is a stripe of brown amongst the green drom about Highway 9 over to well east of the lake.....and its path appeared to be very straight and its width uniform. It will be a while before things get back to normal.

Sure hope you're correct. I do give credit where credit is due but have you seen the huge piles from the logging right up to the easement? I think they are good stewards of the land and hope Windover is not the forgotten step child!

Feeling optimistic! There is some action near the old cemetery and we are all hoping it keeps coming this way!!!
