My place at the lalke does not have DSL capability via Bellsouth or Satelite. Is there a option I can pursue? Is there something I can get from My cell phone company? Other options?

I use Charter's cable service. Not as reliable as DSL but much faster.

Verizon Wireless PCMCIA Card for a laptop. Bought one last year and works GREAT on Alex City side of the lake.

Do a search on the forum for Verizon and you will see my original post regarding this card and also satellite Internet as well.

Depending on where you live - we have Com-Link for our cable and internet access. I'm very happy with the speed and reliability (we live in the Kowaliga area).

Ditto on Com-Link. Almost never goes down.

Com-Link is great if they are your cable provider and you can get for about $34 a month which is a great deal and much faster than DSL. Also, I do carry a AT&T aircard for my laptop as well just in case. Unlimited service is $54 a month and works great and very fast. Would assume Verizon or T-Mobile is about the same. AT&T has the latest 3G network so it is faster than Verizon. T-Mobile shares the AT&T network/towers so that should be the same.

I wish I could just get a cell signal in Sandy Creek. I'm thinking its a capacity problem
