Go Soul Patrol or whatever other gimmck worked for Taylor Hicks. I am a big fan of his. I emailed my Brother when I first saw his first audition on "Most Idol" and told him the Birmingham Man was the next Idol. It was one of the few times I totally disagreed with Simon who is the only judge on the show. The one time Simon Cowl was totally wrong. Simon is the only judge that improves each performer through his insight and opinions. I was torn between Taylor and Paris. Later on I got to really enjoy Elliott Yamin for the class act as a man and natural talent. He has never received any lessons and is 90% deaf in one ear. Just raw talent and emotions. .

I thought Parris and Elliott are also great performers. I have to give credit to both of them and Kathy for being good sports. I have to slam dunk Chris as being a chain butt wearer and as just as big a jerk as his chain. What a jerk and poor no talent looser. I totally detested his performances and his lack of character.

I also kind of like Kellie Pickler and not for her voice. Then last night she totally blew my mind when she threw Puck's escargot under her chair. How could anyone discard such a delicacy? People eat disgusting things like raw oysters and cancer causing hen eggs and will turn their nose up at a good snail sauteed in butter and garlic.

Once again cograts to the Alabama Man with Soul. Cat swing by and pick me up on your way to the Rock this weekend. Virginia is not too far out of your way is it?

Most of the above was posted as an opinion. I am often wrong but not this time.

Don't you feel he's one of us? Finally, we saw a guy who could be our brother, our husband, our son, etc. I think we relate to him.

He dances just like me...like a Alabama white boy. He was the most genuine and he can sing.
