This will be the second time in two years to have my Sea Doo repaired due to a lake guest starting the SEA DOO in very shallow water. Sandy bottom sucked up in the impeller now has cause the ride to not turn over when cranked. My last contact to help repair has left the area. I would like to work with someone who is fair and quick. Unable to place back on the docking station therefore risk of damage to body is high. Please let me know someone who is available in the Parker Creek area. Thanks

Call Cathouse Marine. I'm sure Steve and crew can figure it out and he's quick and reasonable (unless u talk grillin', then he's delusional).

Sounds like there was a rock mixed with the sand and it has jammed the impeller.

Also, suggest you put your post on the Boat Maintenence forum.

And if you are looking for a quiet place to park it until you find some help you could tow it to my place.  The water rarely gets rough.  Email me if you are interested.

Thanks and much appreciated. I will do my best to find a repair person or someone who can secure and tow before we leave tomorrow late afternoon or if not, i might just take you up on the offer and have someone swing by your place to pick up. Thanks

I got rid of my two- don't have to be concerned any longer about guest flipping them and dogging them out- I'm out of wave running

How does that help wehapa with his current challenge?

...Hodja might be on target with the rock wedging the impeller...or a chunk of wood can get sucked into the impeller cavity and cause an obstruction each time you rev the engine...has happened several times with my seadoo...when taken out of the water, the wood chip might fall out on its own....not a bad idea to also to check the wear ring in the rear exhaust...but if CAT is on the case, have no fear....it will be running soon...
