Thought off topic was for stuff like how to get away with killing your neighbors dog, or how to hide the fact that you are doing his wife, stuff like that or where to go and buy a
Machine gun on the black market, maybe how to make a pipe bomb and use it to sink his boat cause his exhaust is too loud. These are things for this forum, let’s get it back on track and leave this political chit to some other forum please.

Sorry I am not going to play this game with you, I promised Bruce that no matter what I would not allow some chithead to lure me into a bashing battle of wits contest on his forum. He understands folks like you come to this type battle unarmed and are very vulnerable and would cry to him asking for a post to be deleted, wasting his valuable time.............. Gloves off!

Perhaps Bruce would consider adding a motorcycle topics page. That would give us some serious stuff to argue...American vs imports, touring vs sport, loud vs quiet, after market vs stock seats, syn vs dyno, boards vs pegs, appropriate rake angles, e-bay vs dealer, best route to the coast, best ride from the lake, best motorcycle friendly eatery, who's going to see CDB at the Angel Ride this year, Biketoberfest. Those topics are just off the top of my head. Forget the details of the latest gummint power grab, as there will always be one behind it. As a matter of fact, forget I responded. I'm wasting time. Let's ride.

We're planning a ride to Myrtle Beach for bike week, some friends want to go to it before they stop the rally’s there all together.
Doesn't metter to me I just want the ride, don't care where we go as long aas we ride there.

Just a mention of Myrtle on a bike page will get some real political stuff fired up. Was there for the 08 rally, and felt it came up a little short. MB didn't make my list of rides for 09. Put together a Tupelo, Memphis, Tunica ride in June. Hit the Trace, visited the King's birthplace and Graceland, then stayed 2 nights in Tunica, with rooms and meals comped. Played poker for 35 minutes, hit for more than I expected to lose, pocketed it all and came home with more money than I left with. Great rides, great weather, great company, great time.

MB has changed, read some stuff about bad encounters with the police. The city of MB has stated they do not want the rallies anymore and put new laws in effect to discourage the rallies. We had planned to go in the spring but at the last minute decided to go to Thunder Beach (again) instead. We have several folks in our group that have never been to MB rally and want to go before it is gone. Hope all turns out ok, they say to just stay out of MD altogether, anytime of the year if you are on a Motorcycle, mine is super loud and would most likely get pulled over for that. We need a rally at the lake, call it Lake Martin BBB = Bikes, Boats and Babes!
