According to the State Department the rebels in Iraq have gained control of Saddams largest WMD facility which they claim contains old WMD.

Help me out here.  We were told by the Bush admin, GOP and Democrat Senators and House members and our allies that he had WMD.  We were subsequently told after the invasion of Iraq by the govt media that no WMD were found.  Then as the war became unpopular we had a bevy of memory challenged Dems, including Billary, claiming that they were opposed to the war and that they were misled about WMD even though they claimed at the time of their vote that they personally examined the evidence and agreed he had WMD. Then a bipartisan panel cleared the Bush administration of the accusation that they cherry picked intelligence data and that everyone that looked at it believed Saddam had WMD. And ever since we have had to listen to left wing nuts claim that Bush lied and people died, blah, blah, blah......tell that to the Kurds gassed and thrown into mass graves. 

And now in 2014 the Obama State Department is telling us that the rebels have seized Saddams old WMD?!?!?!?!?  I am sorry, but WTF!  If this is in fact true, AGW may be replaced as the biggest hoax perpetrated on the American people. This is why no one trusts the media or the government. This is why I believe in limited government. This is why I no longer listen to, watch or read anything from aBS, cBS, NBS, CNNBS, pmsnBS, the Times, WaPo, etc.  This is why the IRS destroyed evidence that would have implicated the White House in the scandal including the President with nary a peep from their lap dogs in the media.  They can get away with the lies and crimes because the  mainstream media is the propaganda arm of the Democrat party. 

Simply mind boggling!

 You fail to address the real question....how could some rebels find them after 10 years of war but they were not found when Bush sent in the troops because there were WMD?

I beg to differ. WE should care and will care if they are used. Who cares about the 5 who were released from Gitmo. They were released....move on. The Right lives on placing blame.....and the Left follows suit. I wonder if Congress will hold hearings....?

I disagree.  I addressed that very question in my post.  How is this possible after umpteen years of being told by the govt media and left wing nuts that there were no WMDs. Hence my WTF.  And you will note I used the terms "apparently" and "if true" because I simply can't believe that both were correct.  We know for a fact he had WMDs as he used them on the Kurds.  We also know,the conventional wisdom about them for the last decade. We know what the State Dept is saying today which totally undermines the conventional wisdom.

if this is true then the Bush administration was totally unwilling to defend themselves from the smears, which I also do not believe.

Satellite surveillance “watched” as convoys - - during the long winded debates at the UN - - moved Sadam’s WMD materiel to the Syrian border. That he left some behind - - could be. Some of the binary chemical weapons and some - - maybe all - - of Sadam’s nuclear materiel made it in to Syria. The Syrians et al (Islamic et al) later received nuclear materiel from North Korea and Pakistan (Islamic et al) and were in the process of attempting to assemble some sort of device. The Israelis caused THAT to disappear in the night. 

“There was no WMD” was a convenient political fabrication which suddenly appeared as President G.W. Bush won the White House. Now, the fickle and worthless diplomacy of the current administration has caused the Islamic overthrow of the very region where the WMDs may yet be recovered - - and deployed.

Why didn't the Bush administration go wall to wall with this and call those claiming there were no WMDs liars?  I know they had a penchant for not responding but they should have said something more than they did.  Either way, if this story is confirmed I will be pleased to tell the left wing nuts with Bush Derangement Syndrome that they are wrong and Bush was right.  Will drive them crazy........even though for anyone that believes in such a failed ideology it will be a very, very short drive.
