Bay Pines Marina will be open soon. My husband and I are in the process of purchasing. Our plan is to have the marina open by the 4th of July. Ideally, we will have it open the weekend prior to July 4th. If anyone needs more information, please email us. We are excited about this to say the very least. We live in the area and have truly missed this great little place. We are certainly open to suggestions of what customers would like to have available for purchase. Please, if you know of people who would be interested in this information, please pass the word. We will have a website via lakemartin.com in the next week or so, as well as a facebook page, etc. Wish us luck!

What does the health dept. have against great outdoor cooking and grilling?....sounds like another example of government stupidity. Anyway, good luck in your adventure and we wish you success!

Bay Pines Marina is an iconic symbol of Lake Martin's unique character.
Best wishes on your adventure.
We are neighbors; I can see your "Open" sign from my living room, even though there are two sloughs between us.
If you can swing selling beer on Sunday, we will be BFF. (And so will a lot of other folks...)

I can't find anything difinitive, but I think Tallapoosa Co, like many, do not legally allow Sunday sales of alcohol...so may be nothing to swing.
