DirecTV Subscribers: If you are a long-time customer, you may have free movie channels this winter. I have Showtime and The Movie Channel. They did this last year also (for three months) as a customer appreciation incentive. If you have paperless billing and don't look at your online account you might never know you have the free channels. Check channel range 501-544.

I got it free for an anniversary with directv the beginning of the year, but not now.

I don't know what the criteria for qualification is. I've been a DirecTV customer since 1994. The channels I had last winter were Starz.
