I use a device called x-cell for my lake phone
It uses blue tooth technology and routs your normal cell phone (Verizon) to your home phone system.
No monthly cost of a lake phone - no bell south or ATT

HH Greg sells one for $ 100 or so

Going to check it out. If its what I think I have been wanting one. Tmobile has it for $10 per month but you have to use a newer version of my phone. I d rather own it for $100. I will go to the link and check it out ...

Looks very cool. Are you able to pick up a regular phone and make a call through your cell phone? Or just answer call that come in on your cell? If you can make calls too ... do you get a dial tone? Since a regular phone does not have a send button ... how do you place a call using a regular phone attached to the unit?

Simply pick up your regular phone and you actually hear a dial tone,
Dial as you would your home phone -
It simply turns your cell into your home phone
