Beto accused many of my friends who attended the Greenville NC Trump rally as participating in a Nuremberg Nazi rally.  Reallly? Just because of some "send her back" chants?  He accused conservative Trump supporters in El Paso as being responsible for that particular horrific shooting event, despite the fact that the shooter was a registered Dem and his manifesto themes pre-dated Trump's election.  He accused Fox News listeners, conservative radio listeners of fomenting the racist tenor and violence, despite , eg, the Ohio shooters stated support for Elizabeth Warren and socialist policies.

If you on the left (including the media) want to continue to slam not only Trump, but also his supporters of inciting racism, hatred and division for partisan purposes, I for one am elated that Trump is willing to defend us in a public way.  If Beto wants to wade in these waters, he must be man enough to accept the public humiliation that comes associated with his 1% polling and party rejection.  As far as I am concerned, Trump should have said more.

Damn, you set the bar too low for Trump. I have to assume you have no problem teaching your kids or grandkids it is acceptable to call out another kid with...your nothing but a bastard. The President sets the example dude for the country. Trump needs to rise above the pettiness of his "gotcha" mentality and lead the nation.

At least, the Forum hasn't denigrated to the point where a..hole and bastard are the only ways we can disqgree.

The bar had been set by Dems 19 minutes after Trump was sworn in when the NYT announced that Trump's impeachment had just begun.  Pettiness?  You must be referring to Gov. Cuomo's statement after Trump announced his new state of residence "Good riddance, he never paid taxes here, he's all yours Florida".  This childlike petulance from the Governor of NY about a lifelong resident of the state that he is responsible for?  How about Mayor DeBlasio?  "Don't let the door hit you on the way out".  This from a mayor of the 38th largest city in the world.  Unfortunately, good riddance won't be the tone when the state of NY audits him, like they do most wealthy individuals moving to a non tax state like Florida. 

Regarding child behavior, if any of my children were called racists for wearing a MAGA hat, they would have more than words at their disposal.
