Jumped again this week up to 472,000, last week was revised higher and the 4 week moving averager has again increased for the last 3 weeks after starting a slow decline.
Fish, can you tell us all again how Obama and the dems are doing a good job and their policies are working. Or maybe you can tell us how it is still Bush and the republicans fault that Obama's policies are failing and the economy is not improving and may fall back in to recession or worse.
Or maybe the wasted $800 billion and the massive increase in government was not enough and we should put the country further in debt and on the brink of default so Obama and the dems can create more socialist programs that do not work for more government power.
Worst president in history and leadership in history.

Unfortunately I am becoming more and more convinced that we are headed toward a double dip recession which is incredibly frustrating and unnecessary. All evidence seems to be pointing in that direction. I can't for the life of me understand the refusal to understand that Keynsian economics has never worked. Isn't the definition of insanity doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result? In that case Obama/Reid/Pelosi are mentally ill as are all those left wing nuts. Ideology trumps common sense.........

There is ample HISTORICAL evidence that government financed intervention doesn’t work. There is ample FEEDBACK in this administration’s experimentation (at taxpayer expense) that this government spending debacle doesn’t work.
There is ample HISTORICAL evidence that crippling government debt eventually ends in riots and social chaos. There is ample FEEDBACK that the majority of the American people want this to stop.
If it is not insanity, then it must be a conspiracy. Nobody can be this blind and or stupid.

I vote for conspiracy. I have said many times on this forum that Obama is a clone of Venezuela's Dictator Chavez. If this country does not make significant changes in Congress in November 2010 and we continue as a single party system until 2012, it will be too late.
If 10 to 15 million Mexican immigrants are granted a path to citizenship while Obama is in power, we will have a single party system for many years. They are not just illegal immigrants - they are potential Democrat voters.

Apparently you didn't get the memo in regards to the GREAT ONE (BHO not GF).........a new Siena College poll of presidential scholars has just been released that shows the scholars have ranked BHO as the 15th best POTUS.....just behind Clinton but ahead of RR. The pollsters say " O is high on imagination, communications and intelligence.......but weak on background!"
WW, in light of this you may have to revise and extend your comments to take into account this new information just after less than 2 years in office............why he may jump to # one after another 12 months!

So, does anyone have a realistic plan to prevent this from happening? I feel the Republicans, and especially the social conservatives, can't see the forest for the trees and as a result they will fail to prevent the eventual slide into socialism.
