Election Results:

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning last November 2008 Presidential election:

Candidate:   Obama McCain

Number of States won by:   19   29

Square miles of land won by:         580,000    2,427,000

Population of counties won by:    127 million   143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:  13.2     2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country."

Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

Square miles of land won by:  Your President Obama  580,000 Delivered By Palin Alaska: 698,000    Electoral Votes Obama 365 Delivered by Palin Alaska 3. So, Palin delivered Alaska with 698,000 square miles and 3 electoral votes but Obama is your President as he won only 580,000 square miles but 365 electoral votes to McCain 173. Your numbers are interesting as all they say is that blacks voted for Obama in big numbers. What else is new????????????????? Happy New Year to you and your family.

Too bad it's not PC to come to any conclusions about groups of people based on hard facts....(especially those people)

The heck with PC. Just identify the group by who it is. If it is blacks say it. If Mexicans say it. If Catholics say it. If Jews say it. I just have an issue when we try and hide behind some phrase or description. We discussed Camden NJ and its high murder rate. Is it the "project" residents. No, those doing the killing are blacks and hispanics. Some live in projects and some live in row homes. The facts are the facts. Are they lazy and non taxpayers? Maybe, but the fact is that blacks and hispanics are responsible for most of the murders in Camden. Happy New Year.

So, what does this say about the election of Barack Obama?

Quite simply that your President is black, plays golf and basketball and is disliked by 100% of tea party supporters. Unlike Bush who was white, enjoyed cleaning out brush on his ranch, enjoyed running, and was disliked by 100% of those Libtards on the far left. What do you think?

I think you are avoiding your Camden extrapolation when talking about Barack Hussein Obama.

It has been said of me that at times I tend to confuse the meek and uninformed. Whenever that occurs, I am the first to apologize. Since it is now Thursday...hasta luego rather than hasta manana.

Those who live off the Government voted for the "Messiah" who will certainly continue their "lottery" in life. We are in dire straits. The #'s on the Government dole continue to increase. Once this # exceeds 50%, it's over. Those who rob Peter to pay Paul can certainly count on Paul's support. Don't really care whether they are Black, White, Mexican, etc. A leech is a leech. Atlas Shrugged anyone?

I read somewhere today that 40% of Americans rely on the government.  I think this a generality… but certainly an eye opener.

If I am retired military, does this mean I rely on the government?  (The government got something in return for my pay.)  Please note that I am not solely relying on the pittance that repays me for 23 years of service.

From Military.com The military (active duty) retirement system is arguably the best retirement deal around. Unlike most retirement plans, the Armed Forces offer a pension (technically a "reduced compensation for reduced services.") with benefits, that start the day you retire, no matter how old you are. That means you could start collecting a regular retirement pension as early as 37 years old. What's more, that pension check can grow with a cost of living adjustment each year. Pensions usually start with full benefits at age 62 or 65 without cost of living increases.

It makes perfect sense, it's all about what can you do for me in many cases? The government would like nothing more than to have nothing but drones sitting around with their hand's out.
And It dissapoints me greatly that a large portion of this Country vote simply on Color - perfect example, I remember when Juan Williams was a level headed middle/right conservative along with Colin Powell, Both of whom were dedicated Republicans prior to a Black senator from IL joining the race of which both threw their support behind and voted for him for no other reasons than color because their stance on nearly everything is in contrast to his and both have succeded in undermining their credibility among true conservatives who don't give a d#@#$ what color you are as long as the content of you character stays true to conservatism values no matter what race runs for office.
