It is a disgrace.  But a big win for Joe with his Gay base and his Black base.  You remember that part of John McCain's heroics was when he relfused to be released if other prisoners in his unit were not also released.  As much as I disliked McCain, I can do nothing but admire him for that.  But Brittany isn't a hero and Biden made a very poor deal.  Spent negotiating capital for what?

Apparently it gets better - the saudi prince who negotiaged the deal got a pardon/immunity a few days ago for killing that reporter.
