A very interesting piece from ABC News about the long-term damage the media is bringing on itself with their overt bias toward Obama. Interesting take on why but suffice it to say that industry is going to be the subject of years of layoffs, bankruptcies, etc.

NEW YORK. For those holding out for some improvement in print circulation, this morning brings disappointment. The Audit Bureau of Circulations released the latest figures for the six- month period ending September 2008 and the report shows major drops in circulation at the big metros.
According to ABC for the 507 newspapers reporting in this period, daily circulation slipped 4.6% to 38,165,848 copies. For the 571 papers, Sunday dropped 4.8% to 43,631,646 copies.

The Columbus (GA) Ledger-Enquirer endorsed Obama...now Columbus is home to Ft. Benning, one of the largest military bases in the US. The Green Berets train there...
Is it not strange that in such a military town, when polls show that McCain is favored 66% to 28% over Obama in the military, that the local paper endorses BO?
Seems a bit out of touch to me...

Montgomery Advertiser also endorsed Obama. Montgomery is home to the Air University at Maxwell AFB. The Advertiser's reason for endorsing Obama was that he's a transformational figure, whatever that means.
