Tuesday night I watched Sasha Cohen's performance:
Magic.
It was sad she fell twice last night, but even with those mistakes, she was like an angel on ice. And she still took the silver.
I flipped back and forth from that to Dancing with the Stars. This season's star dancers are phenomenal. They look as good as the professionals. This was a great show to watch. Hey guys, it's not just a girlie show (oh, watch Cat take THAT the wrong way) because Jerry Rice is dancing and he's really good! He made the finals. Sunday night is the finale.
But, I missed THE OFFICE.....I'll see it next week.

I was amazed at how many of the girls fell last night. I think all but the gold medalist either fell on their butts or almost fell on their butts. Aren't these the best skaters in the world? I would think that the best skaters in the world should land those jumps a very high percentage of their attempts. Am I wrong?

I know nothing...don't keep up....but the commentators were talking about a new grading scale...the things they HAVE to accomplish for points...PLUS creativity...so, it sounds like it is harder these days.
As a teacher, I'll compare it to the new SAT scoring.
1600 used to be a perfect score. Now it's 2400? Not even sure about that. It changed JUST after my oldest graduated from high school. I think it is 3 components of 800 each. Not just 800 perfect score for verbal and 800 perfect score for math. I think the new scoring includes 800 for writing.

Couldn't watch the Olympics while "Dancing" was on another channel. Wife and I have gotten hooked on it. Think we will see alot more of Stacy in the future, however, this competition belongs to ........Drew and Cheryl. Sunday night should be interesting finale.

You know Stacy went to Auburn, she was a diamond doll a few years ahead of me. So she is a hometown girl!

Stacy from Dancing with the Stars IS Stacy Keibler, but she didn't go to Auburn; she's from Baltimore, and went to Towson U. (According to her bio, which is easy to find on the internet.)
