Who was the grumpy old Elmore county commissioner who showed up at the meeting, made his comment and wakled out before he heard what we had to say. He needs to be defeated!

Trey Taylor;[ he will have competition from a Lake resident come election time]; he  owns about 700 acres of down-lake farm land--which is susceptible to flooding irregardless of Lake Martin water levels; whats that old saying--'if you live on a golf course" ????

Interesting! He certainly is entitled to his opinion, but the way he acted certainly wasn't conducive to making fans on this end of the county! Heard the "school teacher" lives up stream on easily flooded land as well. Is he the one who beat Mac by 7 votes?

If you wanted to dress up someone to act and look like a real Alabama Red Neck, you couldn't have found a better person on earth.  He should have his own History Channel show.  The guy filed a comment with FERC some time before the hearing and it took him two filings and several misspelled words to file the comment.  Seems he lives close to Wadley on the banks of the Tallapoosa River (in a trailer????) and his gripe was Alabama Power didn't protect him UPSTREAM OF LAKE MARTIN from an eight inch rain that fell on Wadley, not Lake Harris or Lake Martin back in '03.
If he is a teacher, I hope it's welding classes and not English.
