What are the names of any organizations around the lake that are collecting items for those who were devastated by the storm? If there is a need for help with cleanup too? I have not heard if there were any fatalities in the Lake Martin area. Does anyone know?

Have heard from a couple sources that there were a few fatalities on the lake but not confirmed so don't want to say more. From the pictures, I would have to say it would be a miracle if there were none. I'm sure we will be hearing about local efforts to help our friends and neighbors. And just doing what we can when we see the need. Lake Martin folks are giving and compassionate and won't hesitate.

If anyone hears of a church or other organization that is collecting for the victims of the storm, please post it. I want to donate, but I don't want to donate to the Red Cross.
