Had the “All you can eat” catfish tonight and the two large fillets I got on the first serving were all that I needed. These guys know how to cook catfish and I would have been stuffed had I ordered more. The sad part is the small crowd on Friday night. We all hope Shay can stay open longer this year but bottom line is – the crowds just aren’t there after Labor Day. Sure glad we went though. Nice night to eat outside.

Shay… are you gonna be open NEXT Friday night? My wife loves fried catfish… I do too but mine has to be cooked “firm.” If you’re open, then maybe I’ll propose to take Mrs MAJ on a date to Harbor Docks.

Also... heard and saw geese flying in formation. Autumn has officially come to Lake Martin.

Yes we will be open next Friday we are going to try to stick it out and build a loyal winter busniess . It might just Jennie and myself here here serving and me in the kitchen but we are going to give it 110 % and yes Ill save you a bottle of Tabaso lol Hope to See you MAJ .....

Shay, Keep up the effort. Catfish was wonderful last night and we will be there next Friday. Auburn home game crowd will be at the lake then and will probably increase the crowd.

I had the fried catfish special for lunch two weeks ago. It was the best I've ever had. My family bombarded Harbor Docks for lunch during the terrible 4th of July weather. Great service and food. My wife and I frequent Springhouse every trip, but have come to appreciate the good food at Harbor Docks. Hope the fall/winter schedule will be profitable for HD.
