Ok as we all know the lake level is down now. Lets take advantage of this low water level and try to do some diving around the Sunken City. I need your help. I would love to dive the site and I would like to try my underwater lights and see if it would help with the low vis problem. I am willing to provide all the underwater lighting if we can get a group of people together would would be willing to help. We will need a couple on boats to work from and someone who knows where the site are. This may work and it may not. If any of you have any ideas please let me know.
Thanks
Ronnie

If you are referring to susanah the National Park had maps that showed where it was located prior to the dam being constructed.

There is a guy named Duck and another guy named John who taught diving that should know where it is at.

How long will your lighs run on battery and inverter power?
will it be necessary to have generators?

All the candle watt power in the world will not help when visibility is bad. At depth right now you won’t see any more than two to three feet. Which means your light would not penetrate any further than two to three feet.

Would work fine on shallow dive though, or rocky/sandy area such as “The Rock” or around the sandy islands north of Sandy Creek…

If you want to do a shallow dive in clearer water, you are welcome to come dive with me. Email me your contact info and we could set something up.

I dont know anything about diving...but i am willing to offer the use of my 19ft bowrider if needed..I do have a gps if you have the numbers. It would be interesting if you could actually find the town.
