I've heard some many different stories but does anyone really have knowledge of what the winter water level is going to be? Some have told me 462 and others 460.

I "heard" that this year was to begin holding two foot more water than past winter levels.........Seems like there were articles about it and it was supposed to begin last year but because of the drought it was nothing they could control.

The last I heard was that the new winter level would be 3 feet from full pool. I think after last year, it was too hard to bring the level up from 5 feet down. Can anybody else confirm?

I'm not positive what they are planning for Logan Martin and above, but APCO announced that Lay, Mitchell, and Jordon would not have another fall draw down until fall of 2009. That being the case, it would seem that releases from the upper reservoirs would be minimal unless it was needed for flood control. Be safe.
