When you ask a question like this on this board please be aware that it will not likely get a pleasant response. This board consists mostly of old grumpy men who would have loved to put a fence up around the lake to prevent anyone else from ever enjoying the lake. Of course they wanted to wait for that fence until they had their homes built on the lake. Just wait and watch the grumpy ba$tards respond to this post. I would answer your question by ranking the top three developments on the lake in my opinion...

1. Willow point -nice homes and golf (What Stillwaters wanted to be)
2. Trillium - Again nice homes but no golf (not really a bad thing)
3. The Ridge- The newest nice development (this will really stir em up since its Russell's newest attempt to ruin the lake..sarcasm here)

There are more developments of course but you wanted a top three. Now the price of admission to these developments is VERY high with a minimum at around 600k for lake front and prices that go well over 2 million.

BTW, I also get aggravated by the potential for over development but the fact is that the development will come whether I like it or not. Some folks have a hard time with this reality. Good luck!

Does anyone remember the former name of " The Ridge "? How about " Rattlesnake Ridge ". HEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAHHEEHEHHAAAWWW! I wonder how it got that name? Buyers beware, Russell wants us to forget that. Bad for sales.

The best developement is where you can put up a 2 slip 2 story boathouse. Unfortunatly nowhere in a Russ Land developement can you do this. The best developement is the old lots in Bluecreek area if you can talk anyone out of the places they own there.
