Just heard on the Neal Boortz Show these 3 events.
1. In a school in California, a student in Art Class was drawing an American flag (red, white, and blue) with the words "In God We Trust". A Fellow student was drawing a picture of Obama in red, white, and blue.
The teacher came by and picked up the lag and told the student that this was offensive. No action on the student drawing Obama.
The student told her parents and the parents talked to the Principal. He was upset with the teacher. The father asked the teacher what was offensive and she refused to answer. The Principal asked the teacher to apologize. To date, she has not.
2. In a Senior Citizen Center close to Savannah, the Seniors pay $0.55 for a meal (high quality). The agency sponsoring the mills does an audit of the Center and finds the Seniors offering a prayer before the meal. The Agency Director tells the seniors that prayer must be stopped since federal funds are being used.
3. A teacher in California tells the students that LA is land stolen from Mexico and they have a right to this land. We have already heard the story of the students being sent home with American Flags on their shirts on the Mexican day.

They aren't schools, they are indoctination centers.

I heard the one about the senior's center and the prayer. According to the article I read, SOME OFFICIAL of the company that runs the center said that they could not pray out loud because of federal funding of the program, but they could pray silently.
There is no indication of any government official inisting that they not pray; therefore it led me to wonder if it was not the OFFICIAL that was offended by the prayer and had nothing to do with federal funding. Or maybe someone in the group complained and asked not to be singled out. I have a feeling federal funding was just the excuse given and there is really something else at play.
