The ''endless'' war is not over after all.  The troops being pulled out of Syria, leaving the Kurds to be forced to leave their homes and to face the gentle touch of the Turks and Assad's army, are not coming home...they are just moving across the border into Iraq.  So much for Trump ''doing what he promised''!

then explain how you justify your expressed belief that  it was a wonderful fulfillment of a promise that Trump was bringing the troops home....until of course he suddenly wasn't bringing them home and it become a wise decision to keep them in place to keep an eye on Isis.  Good grief, but for Trump's stupidity and love affair with the likes of Erdogan and Putin, they could have stayed in place and kept an even closer eye on Isis while letting the Kurds to do the heavy lifting if needed.  Face reality for once...it want hurt much!  This is a foreign policy disaster that all the king's horses and all the king's men cant put the thing together again!!

PS:  You are correct.  It is 1800 to Saudia Arabia...I hit the wrong key.  I prefer a couple of thousand aiding the Kurds to a couple guarding the House of Saud.  Guess it is pretty clear wher Trump's heart is...follow the money!!

Great answer.  Where would you find these people?  So the US send fighters to Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, etc. to fight isis.  Hey I have a better idea let's pull us troops out of the Middle East and allow them to decide how they settle centuries of hate and war.  You want war and fighting and I want out of the Middle East for our troops.

When I initially criticized Trump's action you immediately expressed the opinion that Trump was keeping a campaign promise!  I am pleased you are opposed to this action but wish you would be as expressve of that opposition as you are enthusiastic of Trump's actions you support!

I said from the outset that I opposed this decision but it was clearly consistent with what he said he would do if elected.  Why would I wail and gnash my teeth about something like this?  If you want to hear me wailing, Trump will have to do something like Obama did in Iraq or Syria or if he proposed we leave NATO.  But removing 200 soldiers from northeastern Syria?!?!?  Sorry, but only people suffering from TDS would abandon all prior principles simply because it was Trump making the decision.  Like I have said from the get go, if Trump found a cure for cancer the headlines would be, "Thousands of Medical Professionals to Lose Their Jobs!!!".  You guys have simply lost your minds.
