I can't answer your question, but I noticed the restaurant only got a three out of 5 star rating in this past weekend's B'Ham News.

The Mgr. is gone. Not sure if mutual agreement or not. The Chef is still there and is now the Chef/Mgr.

I hope the best for the place since it is the type of place we all want for the Lake.

They could loose a little of their attitude (no a lot of it). There is no need for two receiving areas when you enter the place. Please, just enter give your reservation name or request and be shown to a table. What is the stuff about being taken to another hostess to request the same info and shown you to your table.

The last time I was there (three weeks ago), I had reservations and they wanted to seat me ouside in a rather warm evening weather. Then, it took them almost 20 minutes to find an inside table for us. This is after being batted about by the staff.

The place is really not all that special. I think any customer is far more important than anyone on the staff seems to perceive themself in this todate mediorcre place. They do put on aires which are not justified by any means. Some of the finest establishments I have enjoyed did not echo such childish put-ons.

I hope they improve. They do need to improve upon their table and seating arrangements. I do not think being seated as if you are in a bar in this type of place is appropriate. Of course, they own and run it. Good luck, and I hope they improve.

My spouse and I have been to this restaurant once and the above comments pretty much say it all for us. We felt this way with our one and only visit. I do hope it has an attitude change and survives.
