WOW...
I would of never thought I would say this but... I had a wonderful time at the chicken auction. It was good to meet everyone there. I have a few pics if I can find a way to post I will.

That was a treat no doubt. Entertaining and fun as well. Yall company made it better. It was good to meet you all as well. We have to do the Chicken Auction again. Now, I must go and build a cage for 3 chickens, 10 quail, one pheasant and a guinnie pig. Still Laughing.

Hey Cat, This is exactly the reason I suddenly felt very sick Friday afternoon; resulting in Hound not making it to the auction.
She would of bought chickens, goats and etc. (you bought a guinea pig?)
I am in sudden fear since our garage builder just told her about a goat auction place. I am in big trouble.
Farmboy, I need you to explain the work involved with goats. Please!!!

Well, 9 hours of labor gone by and Steven jr. and I just completed the cage. I'll post pics later, but it's cage gone condo. LMAO. Now I have to figure out how to move it from inside the shop to outside. Really, we did have to build it inside because of all the football games and Tallageda truck race. 64 sq. ft. Chicken condo (with quail). I sure am glad chickens sell for $3, and quail for $2.50.

I have seriously wanted goats for about 20 years now. What are the pitfalls of goat ownership?
Feb has told me that if I want goats, I am on my own and he will have no part of it.

What do you want them for ........ They are fun to look at at first then you gotta feed them , give them shots , and look after them. The Baby goats are fun when they are little . I guess it depends on what you want them for. Call Faye Floyd at Floyds Feed and Seed . Ms Faye is a real authority and can give you all the pros and cons .(256-825-7968) I am sure Feb needs something else to look after be sides himself.

are we talking about the chicken auction out in the old barn? i can't even remember what road it's off haha. I know you take a right when 67 forks at those ponds and it's a bit further on the left.
that is an INTERESTING place and I really hate I missed this! LOL
