What would it take toeliev get the levels of this lake more in line with other TVA lakes I believe it would increase the value of all the land around the lake

probably having a politician moving to Douglas will do it.

You would think that a person making 3.6 Million $'s would be able to come up with a plan for us to use the lake for at least 6 months rather than just 2 1/2.
The end of our summer ramp in our subdivision, is now 60' from the waters edge.
Right now the lake is about 3 blocks from my dock.
I have water for navigation, as long as the level is within 3' of pool.
PS. what makes anyone think a person is worth more than 1 Million $'s per year, can't he make ends meet. I am sure TVA pays for all his trips, etc.

Unfortunately it appears no one at the TVA is concerned about property values or recreational use.  Making electricity and flood control are the only two items of interest.
