Think of it this way. All the beaches are getting cleaned of the excessive fire pits that seemed to be every where.

I never understood why someone would build a fire 5 feet from a previously used spot, but they do it all over the beaches on Lake Lanier.

Okay, we could turn this thread into: I have never understood why...

I have never understood why skiers think the whole lake wants to hear booming rap music at 7:30 in the morning. Perhaps they think they are the only ones on the lake?
