While your math is correct, logically speaking, the real picture is completely different! You say "others had less than 1/3". If you will, let me help you present a more impressive picture. In this scenario, when you compare this weeks news shows, "THE NUMBER ONE RATED FOXNEWS PROGRAM SERVED UP 4 TIMES THE AUDIENCE THAN ANY OTHER CABLE NEWS NETWORK SHOW"! I spent several years in advertising/marketing and this indeed is very impressing where these numbers are concerned. Second thought, I prolly ought to stay out of this. :)

FOX obviously has a higher audience. But, I look at their viewer as numbering maybe 4,500,000. I would have to assume that each person watching FOX generally watches all the shows. I doubt logically that they get off FOX after a show and a new group begins to watch. To me 15 million viewers is misleading as most are the same people.
What is interesting is that as impressive the numbers are compared to other stations only 4.2 million out of 220 million or 2% over 20 watch it. I expect there would be alot more Joe the Plumbers who would get their news from FOX.

First of all, there are close to 300 million people in the country, not 220 million, but who's counting.
Second of all, you have illustrated for me exactly why the White House war and the loony left's hatred of FoxNews channel is so ill conceived. I have long said I would gladly trade Fox for ABC, NBC and CBS which typically have around 20 million viewers combined for their one-time slot versus Fox with 15 million viewers over a several hour window.
Finally, on the whole it shows that less than 15% of the population on any given evening gets their news/commentary from the TV. They either obtain it from the dinosaur media (print) which is heading toward extinction, the internet or as I suspect the vast majority are mostly tuned out.

MM, you are really surprising me. I said OVER age 20 as I assume those under 20 are not watching FOX News. You are correct there are 308 million population.
When there are no more than 4.2 million watching Hannity, how do you grow that
to 15 million SEPERATE viewers? Are you suggesting that all the viewers of FOX news can only watch one program and then they turn to CNN???
I wonder who is leaning against the light post??

I missed the over age 20 qualifier. No, I don't think there are 15 million separate people that watch FoxNews each night which again goes further to my point about how stupid the administration was to focus on them. But even if there were 15 million people each night watching FoxNews it is still a small percentage of the overall population.....but their numbers make the alternatives (CNN,pMSNBC, etc.) seem even more irrelevant.
Sadly the last time I was there was to winterize my boat and jet skis......sigh.... I really wish they would change winter pool to 485 as that would give me year round water and I would be able to enjoy the fall boating. How bout you?
Other than that been working hard to try to keep business going. Has been a very tough year with lots of salary reductions and some layoffs for lack of work. Mostly focused on decisions that generate enough profit to keep the bankers happy while holding onto as many people as possible.

"greatest county"........well I do like Cobb county where I live part time cause after age 62 the school tax portion of my county tax is dropped........bill went down about 60 %, and the county is not broke- been run by Republicans for a few decades! Now, if you meant country........yes, after a few trips outside our borders I'll take the USA any day............just not crazy right now for the financial shape we are in. How 'bout you, where else would you rather live?

fading very fast thanks to the disaster in the WH and the socialist dems. We only have 1 more year until we get leadership and sanity back in congress .... and just 3 more years until we leadership and pride for america back in the WH.
Counting the days.
What president, due to his own policies warns of a second recession when we are not even out of the one he made much worse. Real hope and change for those 6 million unemployed and the families losing their homes.
He wastes $800 billion of tax payer money and lies even about jobs saved ... numbers are showing now that it is just over 300,000 ... how sad is that.
Now he is saying the design of the stimulus did not have the effect he had hoped ... ummm that is what he was told. But his experience as a community organizer and 144 days in the senate made him much smarter than others.
Again fishy what is it that you like about this guy? What has he accomplished that you feel is right or good/positive for america? There must be something to keep such loyalty? Please share with us, since we must not see what you are seeing.

his business is booming and that Obama policies have really helped him. I guess that is why we have not seen him in a while .,,, he must be so busy with the robust economy that Obama has created he has no time to come and point that out to us all.
I'll bet he is hiring a lot of people with the demand for new homes, additions and commercial business expansion.
I wonder where he lives that all this is going on.

I am sad for all those people that Obama has put out of work and will not be able to have a very happy thanksgiving. All that hope and change thing is not working for them.

Yep GF, and the home of Sen Johnny Isakson........it's so far right that a steady stream of unhappy folks continue to move in from other metro counties because of the safety, low taxes and efficient gov't.........and so right wing that our county manager is (and has been for a long time) a black man in a majority white county, and the Chairman of the county commission is a man of the Jewish faith! Can you believe the audacity of those right wingers...........?!
