I've been hearing and reading for two days now that the hard left liberals ( read H Dean, Archie, GoneFishing etc) are going bonkers over the thought that the Obama Care bill might pass the Senate.....so they are going all out to defeat it. Can you in your wildest dreams believe that the liberals have come around to the position of the conservatives that this was a turkey of a piece of legislation?? Stange bed fellows. :-}

My thought was this: Are they smart enough to act like they are opposing the health plan, so the conservs would say "well maybe it is not that bad if the libs are against it"? But then I thought...naaaaaaaaaa

they want to defeat it (at least Dean, Sanders, and the lunatic left netroots) is Reid has been forced to remove the public option and the Medicare buy in by Lieberman and the federal funding of abortion by Nelson, all of which proponents (and opponents) know will ultimately lead to a single payer system and more abortions.

The hard left have long dreamed of having all Americans relying on the government for something as important as health care as a means to perpetual incumbency for left leaning candidates. I only refer you to what constitutes a conservative politician in Canada or Europe so you will understand what that will mean for our country.

As for the self-professed independents like Archie, he is waiting to see which way the masses go and only then will decide on what to support.
