About the Tea Bagger from Waycross Ga. Who called C-Span yesterday and pointed out that his Tea Bag group had taken Sen. Coburns advice to heart and prayed that Sen Byrd would die or be too sick to make the HC cloture vote? He wept while expressing his concern that instead Sen. Inhof might have died instead (Inhof was a no show at the 2d procedural vote yesterday). Makes Wanda Sikes look like a rank amateur at wishing harm come to others! Where do these nuts come from and why and why?

You can pick nut cases out of both groups and make your case. If you make a case off a single incident, and not general direction, thought, ideology, philosophy, morals, and constitutional integrity, then your case will always be weak.

The general direction we are heading is scary, is sad, and I hope (yes I still have some) is not irreversible. Trying to sell this on numbers crunched by another government agency and then saying "well a third party, unbiased said"......and not looking at what you are doing to Medicare on the eve of the largest group EVER to be on Medicare, now that is weak, sad, scary....and is almost wishing that someone will die.

my 1.13 cents (what with the weakening of the dollar)

After 8 years during the Bush administration where a large number of the loony left wished death and destruction for Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, etc. is it any wonder there is a climate of hostility?

The good news is that at least on the right these people represent a miniscule fringe element and the vast majority of us on the right pray for some sanity to return to the electorate that they will rid Congress and the WH of these statists.

It figures Archie decides to post on the one outlier of bad behavior while Rome burns around him with the ruinous policies of the lunatic left.......I am much more concerned about the beliefs and activities of radical leftists in a position of power and currently ruining our country while you seem more concerned about some irrelevant, powerless nut job in Waycross, GA. Typical leftist priorities.

By the way Archie, I haven't heard a peep from you about the trillions in debt we are getting from Obama/Reid/Pelosi despite having to read many posts during the previous administration decrying their paltry billion dollar debts. What say you? Hypocrisy maybe?

Seems the left doesn't have a lock on the lunacy market.

I've flown over 1.3 million miles and this has never happened to me. In fact, I can tell you I have spent way more time in line going through security run by the federal government than I have ever spent on a jet waiting to take off (and I won't even get started with the DMV). How typical of the government to take a very unusual event and use it as an excuse to further regulate private industry. And lo and behold, what is their answer? Sending money to the government because I am inconvenienced. And what will the airlines do? They will raise ticket prices to compensate for the additional regulatory burden and potential fines. So in fact this is just another tax on all Americans that travel by air proving once again that the Messiah lied when he said no one making less than $250K per year will pay more in taxes under my administration.

Thanks for pointing that out for us GF!

Well, I have just a little over of 5000 hours in the cockpit flying USAF jets.. average it at 400 miles per hour, which is fair, that's a good distance.. But that's not the point. Delayed in Hawaii, wife giving birth to a daughter in North Carolina, and spit on in San Diego, 1973, all over the course of a week... I have little sympathy for delayed flight passangers.
