is sooooo quiet which leads me to the assumption that all those on the Right have been driving their new Xmas sportscar around town, while the Socialist crowd has been sad with class envy as they have been busy driving their new hybrid.

I do hope those who celebrate Xmas had a joyous holiday.

I'm in front of the fire, grandkids are gone, husband sick in bed, and so sad Santa did not bring my KINDLE. He said he would have to "read" more before he would bring it to me. What's the WORD! I have to get him to understand...Is the KINDLE the way to go. I am sure there are several people on the forum who got Kindle/or something similar for Christmas. Let me know what you think. I am interested in...can you store a book you really like....I read books over and over again....can font be made BIG for older folks with vision problems.....just two questions.

Merry Christmas to all... and to all a good night.

couple of days. Enjoyed Santa visiting Grandchildren in Loveland Colorado and Frederick Maryland, excited to the point of exhaustion, getting 'cake, milk and hay (for reindeer)' ready for the visit.. These 3 little people make my life more than whole.. Grand kids are the real deal..

We have 4 grandchildren so I understand your love and emotion. Ours are all up north and we spend most of the summer with them. Now you need to get ready for
footbasll and more football. Then, back to bashing the socialists. Cheers.

I love my grandbabies...they make me laugh. They are so funny and I tell their parents, listen to what they say, it is important, even though it may drive you nuts. After a day with grandchildren, it is nice to be alone. Tomorrow is another day....at the lake....with almost a full pool...and leaves are still falling. I will have to rake and take them to the farm. Oh well! But for Christmas I got gift certificates to Home Depot and Southern Gardens... I use them to buy flowers to plant in the spring and summer. Can't wait.

Happy New Year to everyone.

Wonderful gadget. Sometimes you need to be your own santa. It is not just for books. You can get most major newspapers daily or on demand. If you don't know a word you can highlight and it gives you the definition. It pays for itself since books are at least 50% less and sometimes 70 or 80% less. If you travel or go on a trip, you can bring several books, get newspapers every day, all in one little light weight device. While there is the feel of turning the page you need to get used to not doing, but the unit itself feels like a book and i got used to that very quickly.
