Katherinn, welcome to the Forum. Hopefully, you will become an active member. While I am unable to provide you with any names for stone, I suspect some of our stoned members will be able to assist you. Once again, welcome.

Call Alabama Wholesale Stone in Oneonta. Believe website is alastone.com. Speak to Reenie, she and her husband Phillip own the rock quarry and have been doing business with them for years. If they do not have what you need nobody will.

Also call Baily Stone and talk to Bill Bailey. It is also a family owned quarry and they have people to do the work. They did all the stone work for my dad's home in The Ridge; excellent job for much less than anyone we could find locally. Baily and the company Mav mentioned are probably your best bets because you will cut out the middle man. I can e-mail you pictures if you want to see what they can do.

Did you notice that only one of the posts above correctly read your request. That's the way it goes on the forum. Not sure where you'll find Tallapoosa stone. Most of the stone around this are is kinda flaky, soft, and the color of red mud. You may really want that imported stone talked about above.

Thank you so much Sandra, He had exactly what we had been looking for! It's the same stone at the entrance of Trillium and he brought us a sample by and mentioned that he was currently working on three walls in Trillium for the Cowen's which he was more than happy to take us to look at them and they were simply gorgeous! BTW for anyone looking for this stone he has about 400 tons of Tallapoosa
County field stone so just go to his website deasconstructionllc.com
Thanks a million Sandra! I owe ya one! now we can have our walls built and our fire pit!! I'm so excited!
