Nothing really. For some reason it popped in to my head last weekend and was telling someone much younger about it and how my father banned my sisters from playing it (45 RPM) because it was too suggestive.

Compared to some songs today, it makes me laugh now thinking about that.

So I found the song on youtube and sent it to the person I shared the story with last weekend. Since I think most of us are of the same age group, I decided to share with everyone considering that it came from the peace and love era. You have to laugh at how slimmy Gary Puckett looks and those clothes ... did we really think that was cool back then?

You have to wonder if 40 years from now if teenagers of today will look back at their dress and music today and laugh about it the same. Maybe we will all be dressed in Islamic garb and praying to the east everyday.

Well, you are right about that. It seems almost innocent doesn't it?
I was listening to the radio the other day and the Ballad of John and Yoko came on. I remember how radical it seemed when John and Yoko spent their honeymoon in bed, giving interviews.
