in ad against Brown in Massachusetts. Panic is setting in....Will be interesting to see if the government media or the loony left rushes to condemn the "politicization" of the WTC. No need to respond as we already know the answer.... I am trying to recall a time when they have firmly demonstrated their double standard and hypocrisy so often in such a short period of time....
By the way, I still believe Coakley will win. Having said that, the GOP has already won in Massachusetts because it is absolutely mind boggling that a Republican is even competitive in the bluest state in the country. Obama ratings in free fall, wins in NJ and Virginia, more people identifying as Republican than Democrat, GOP leading in the generic poll......all in one year of Obama/Reid/Pelosi. And to think we were told by Archie and GF that the GOP was DOA. How quickly things change.....

You may be right about Coakely, but I think with the Brown momentum taking place and surging here at the last puts him over the top.....notwithstanding the Acorn, unions, Bill Clinton, DCCC,DSCC etc, etc, throwing everything in there. It seems some internal polling is showing tyhat the bottom has dropped out of her numbers.......probably brought on by a lot of factors, the least of whichn has been her insult to Catholics, the 'Fenway Park' type voter, the lobbyist fund raisers etc, just a ham handed campaign from day one. If this happens, won't it be ironic that it happens in Mass?

I hope you are right and if that happens the media template will be that it is meaningless and she was a bad candidate or the climate for Dems is bad, etc. No one will admit that he is running directly against Obama/Reid/Pelosi. Any way you look at it the fact that he is running so well in MA is stunning.

But ONLY with your statement the Coakley still wins. I think (hope beyond hope) that Brown wins. Apparently some high ranking dems are all but writing it off at this point. Even her internal polls are showing her loosing by as much as five points.
Here is my prediction. Brown sqeaks out a victory, but not by a large enough margin to prevent the desparite dems from filing a contest to the election. Then the post election politics plays out in the dems favor, it is after all Taxachsetts, contorlled by dems for a century or more. Then the 'playing' of the system begins in order to keep it tied up so that the dems can refuse to seat him, 'till the courts have settled the matter'. They can't just slow play it now that that cat is out of the bag, but there is 'precedent' for not seating a winner as long as it is in court battles. Remember the Stuart Smalley debacle in MN.

My hope is the same as yours except I hope you are right and I am wrong. I would agree that after the debate and some of her comments, including about the Fenway Park crowd, that she had committed the cardinal sin of frontrunners which is to make dumb mistakes in the waning days of a close election. Is it any wonder that the frontrunner is better off not debating close to election day? All this is combining to make the race outcome approach the amazing. I think I read somewhere that Brown's campaign is akin to a Democrat running for the Senate in Texas on a platform of higher taxes, pro-abortion, pro-gay marriage and gun control.
I do disagree with the concept (which I recognize is not necessarily yours) that this is not a referendum on Obama/Reid/Pelosi. While Obama may enjoy 55% approval ratings in MA I don't think his policies necessarily do. For many that have direct experience with MassCare (or whatever they call it) they have seen that it neither improves the quality of care nor saves money. And the cost is just another burden being borne by the taxpayers of MA. I think they as much as anyone in the country (except maybe Tennessee) know what a disaster Obamacare will be for America and that divided government is the best form of all. In an overwhelmingly Democrat state like MA, Obama's approval ratings should be north of 60%.

Good question. Two ways to look at it.
1. Voters who might have otherwise voted for Coakley vote for a Kennedy thinking he is one of the "clan".
2. Only "hard-core" voters show up and are wise to who Kennedy is -- and those with Libertarian leanings end up pulling votes from Brown.
Beats me. I have only been in Mass. once and that was driving from Portsmouth, RI to the Providence, RI airport. And if that is the last time I am in Mass. that is OK by me.

As to the election Tuesday, I have said before that I do not like when one party has control of Congress and the Presidency. The foundation of our Democracy is advice and consent through debate. One party is not healthly so I don't have too much concern if Brown wins.

Actaully that should send a huge message to Obama and jis socialist agenda and the blind followers. Coakley vowed to vote against the socialist healthcare bill ... that has contributed to popularity and 5% or more lead in the senate race.

A miracle! I agree with GF.
I don’t wish to see another time in this country when the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch are held by the same party. We need a moratorium on government. Gridlock would be a good thing.
(Hmmm... Getting the national budget passed might be problematic.)

I also believe that each member of the Supreme Court AND each of the justices’ staff should be required to privately re-read the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
