He's for real. I've exchanged emails with him and he is a pretty decent guy. Part of his schtick on the forum is for real and part is to stir things up and keep us conservatives on our toes.

Hodgiee. I have indeed exchanged a couple of emails with the Martini. I remember discussing Apple Computers and most recently cigars.
I always dreamed of going private with one of those hottie FOX conservative babes. Sadly, you don't qualify. But, I am as sincere in person, in emails, or on the Forum. As Martin says, I am just a "pretty decent" guy. But then, I am a progressive and they go hand in hand.

Gone fishing is out to lunch.. Cite "wing Nut" Original "Wing Nut" was a less than endearing reference to an air force pilot.. goes back to the days of flying prop aircraft.. closely related to "Prop Head" "Wing Nut" evolved from there.. The jump from "Wing Nut" to being a right wing crazy eludes me, however, I suspect most of the military veterans on this forum are a bit right of center??

So, GF, I have in the past said that your posts on this particular forum are counter to those on other forums (fora, or in Italian fori) on this site -- that the posts to the other forums were very thoughtful, positive, constructive and reflected someone who had a lot to offer - but also that your rants on this forum were really out of character with your posts to the other forums. In my previous post I essentially asked you to open a private dialogue so we could get to a common ground, but I was met with silence. Thus the explicit challenge.
Something tells me we could get along on a person-to-person basis, politics aside. I, for one, am willing to give it a chance. How 'bout you?

What does sc**S mean? I can't say whether you would be a "real" decent guy until I had that figured out.
Aside from that I said it because that is what I think and it has nothing to do with your political beliefs. There are lots of conservatives that I don't care for and plenty of liberals...oh, I'm sorry....progressives, that I like just fine. I also think you are one of too few liberals that have a genuine sense of humor. Maybe it that I have always enjoyed people with your wry sense of humor. I also like Hound despite the fact that we have disagreed vehemently on many issues and generally get on each other's nerves. But in the end I think she too is a decent person and in fact, if she would say that Obama sc**s she might even make into the category of real decent......assuming I ever figure out what it means.
