Former Democrat Hound says if Barack Obama is to fulfill his promise of positive change in America, the president must "make some hard changes of his own" by replacing inexperienced members of his team with "others like CAT and MAV, capable of helping him govern."

In an editorial for Lake Martin.com, Hound writes- Obama's White House staff is made up of too many people left over from Hangin' out at Chucks' or from his time in The Lake Martin Oyster Bar. "Getting elected and getting things done for the people are two different jobs," Hound writes, suggesting the president and his people haven't fully made the transition from campaign mode to gettin' crap handled.

Hound, who endorsed Obama in 2008 and is a Mr. Hodja admirer goes on:

I'm crazy about Hodja, he just does something to me! Cranks my tractor so to speak. But,one problem is that they do not have sufficient experience at governing at the Off Topic Forum level. The deeper problem is that they are not listening to Gone Fishing. And, Lamont is just plain crazy.

Hearing is one thing; listening is another. And, believing all this mess is a whole story on it's on.

Some are even questioning whether Obama has forgotten how he got elected and the promises he made to the dummies who elected him.

Don't take my word for any of this. says, Hound. Look at the clear message the Lake Martin Forum members have been sending these past few months.

Hound places part of the blame for recent election losses in Nero's point, Blue Creek and Little Kowaliga area squarely on one of his successors, previous Off Topic spokesperson Archie. He calls on Archie to step down from the HOBO, saying it is "the wrong job for him." He should stay home more.

Shake-ups at the Rock and at Still Waters are necessary if the president is to succeed and Democrats are going to turn around downward trending poll numbers and survive in November, Hound writes.

In addition to replacing his staff, Hound, the nation's first retired government employee to step forward and come clean, also urges the president to fine tune his banjo and focus on playin' a more recognizable tune. Or, maybe sing "Sweet Home Alabama". He could even join Face Book and participate.

"Unless changes are made at the rock, by the rednecks, when the time comes for voters to show how they really feel about Obama, his policies and the messages he sends directly or through the people of Cathouse, the president will discover that Stillwaters,Harbor Point Marina, Trillium and those people at the Mud Bog were not just temporary aberrations but, rather, timely expressions of Regular folks who always show that they are ahead of the politicians," Hound writes.

Hound, I'll loan you my sexy John Deere Utility Tractor. It's as clean as the day it rolled off the showroom floor. A re-inactment story begins>>>> You'll ride in comfort as you stroll along side of "Dirt" on her Orange tractor (yuck). Careful now, its getting hot outside, don't make a mess of your beautiful hari and make-up. Just reach up and turn on the Air conditioning. All the while Dirt begins to break a sweat! Oh my, that terrible noisey engine on Dirts tractor! It's driving her insane (she don't have far to go anyway). But Hound, don't you worry. Your cab is pretty quite inside, but for chits and giggles, reach up and turn the stereo on and listen to your favorite song on CD. Ah, what the heck, go ahead and turn it to Sirius Sat. radio and listen to FOX NEWS like you know you always do. Afterall, you love hanity about as much as you do Hodja! Go ahead, dance a little. The cab is quite roomy. As you two approach hilly terrain Dirt begins to grind gears to downshift, almost stopping and choking her tractor down. You Hound, on the other hand have placed your tractor in Cruise mood, and the fully hydrostatic drive system has taken over, and your trip to the pagent continues uneventful. Now the pagent begains. Dirt has mad the challenge. So, next we must post pics of the two of yall poseing with tractors?????? This, I got to see.

Best if Dee Dee operates Cat's tractor. Rude and I will lead the parade in our classic English cars. Therefore when we break-down, the tractors can pull us to the end of the parade route.
