Within mere days of being corrected by Dick Cheney Joe Biden has reversed himself and is now worried about another terrorist attack. Talk about being outgunned and outbrained.....and this guy is a heart beat away.

On another note, the right wing attack machine CNN has a new poll out showing more than 50% saying the Messiah doesn't deserve a second term. And all this without having accomplished one thing except to quadruple our national debt and watching unemployment/underemployment in the private sector rise to almost 17% while federal government employment is at record levels and the porkulus only stimulated union jobs. No cap and tax, no Obamacare, admission that their groveling to Iran has been an abject failure, no Olympics for Chicago, bowing to everyone in sight and on and on and on.

C'mon Hound, admit you made a mistake......most of the independents that voted for Obama have!

I do not blame fellow Indepenents who voted for Obama, I had to hold my nose to put the check mark next to McCain. If the Rebublicants would have offered a decent choice, they would not have alienated so many who can think beyond pulling one big lever. All we Independents hear is that we should forget our beliefs, concede defeat, go left or right, and shut up. Since I have been voting, I have always voted against the Dumbocratic Presidential candidate, but am all over the board for the other positions depending on the individual running for office. Stop pointing fingers and take a look in the mirror.

To me, it will never be a mistake when it comes to not voting for McCain.
And as far as I'm concerned, Cheney will always be a criminal and a liar. And he has a nerve saying anything to anyone about terrorists. He and GWB were in office when the US suffered the worst terrorist attack ever. GWB has had the grace to not point fingers. Cheney needs to retire from Washington and go back to shooting his friends.

Wow!!!

While you are right the worst terrorist attack did happen 8 months after Bush took office ... which never would have happened had Clinton taken action with the multiple prior attacks.

I know you hate Bush/Cheney, but what on earth do you think they could have done to prevent that or even could have thought someone would do something so outrageous.

Now don't come back and said he was warned .... I am sure you know how many warning I am sure every president deals with everyday ... now what if he acted on that warning based on intelligence ... how do you think the american people would have accepted an attack without know why?

It also amazes me that people such as yourself are critical to say Bush should have done something to prevent the attack based on intelligence, and then be critical of Bush for using the intelligence on Iraq and WMD's. Same intelligence Clinton had too and believed in.

Can't have it both ways.

OK hound, think I got it..

Vice President Cheny is a liar and criminal. He and President Bush were in the White House on 9-11. Ergo, they are at fault for the death of 3000 innocents in NYC, and deserve zero credit for zero attacks on the Nation for 8 years.. .. Thanks, you have made it all clear to me now.. How could I be so stupid??

He really gets to you doesn't he Hound? Its because what he says makes perfect sense to anyone that isn't an apologist for Obama/Biden or too proud to admit their mistake in 2008. Don't worry, we'll never get that out of you. It's just refreshing to see that the majority of independents in the country have the intellectual honesty to admit their mistake. You stay in the minority and hold out until the bitter end.

Do you really think McCain was the choice of true conservatives? Give me a break and don't even begin to blame us. But once he was the candidate we had a choice between an imperfect GOP candidate and Obama. That so many independents went for Obama and we have the disaster we have right now is not something that can be blamed on conservatives.

That independents didn't like McCain so they went for what was objectively and obviously a much worse choice to me demonstrates what is wrong with many independents. Not all, but many. It is simply irresponsible and foolish to vote for the greater of two evils in order to punish the other party because they didn't give you the magical candidate that meets all your "independent" criteria. That is just wrong and that is just dumb. And besides, I am specifically pointing to the independents that voted for Obama. A good many did what I did, held their nose and voted for McCain.

So don't blame conservatives for McCain and don't spend your energy defending independents as a whole just because you are one. Many of those independents that voted for McCain made a mistake and as the polls are showing they are coming to their senses. That independents like Hound will never admit their mistake, or maybe she loves the incompetence and destruction of this country doesn't mean that a great many of them haven't come to their senses because they have. But they still deserve the ire of conservatives for their mistake because all the information was there, they just refused to listen.

Please let us know exactly what crimes Cheney committed because God knows the Demoncrats looked and came up with nothing, zero, zip.....you are just making that up and have absolutely zero proof. If you have it I defy you to produce it, otherwise dispense with the leftist Keith Olby/Rachel Madcow talking points because that is a group that a decent person would not want to be affiliated with. I want proof from you, not stupidity coming from the netroots.

The fact is you have none because none exists because no crimes were committed. Show me the stained blue dress and I'll reconsider my position....

I have met ADM/SEN McCain. He was travelling with COL/SEN Lindsey Graham and stopped in Baghdad. It was late in the evening and they came into our compound. Because I worked adjacent to COL Graham's operation (when he was serving their on active duty - he's SCANG) they came over to our cigar session. Their security people were motioned away… there were no media or cameras. ADM McCain and COL Graham were dog-tired. COL Graham doesn’t smoke… and he grinned as he turned us down again. We joked and hung out for a brief time... but, like said, they were tired.

ADM McCain is a hero… DO NOT doubt that.
COL Graham is the only senator who serves on active duty.

That said, I kept my cool as I voted for SEN McCain. No matter how misinformed and misdirected, HE WOULD HAVE PUT AMERICA FIRST. I believe, like President Reagan, he would have appointed competent advisors and listened to them. He’s an old man. If he died in office we would have had GOV Palin… a far better alternative than Biden. SHE WOULD HAVE PUT AMERICA FIRST.

I’d really have trouble voting for COL Graham.

I completely agree that McCain would put America first and I greatly admire his service record. I also believe he would have been a fiscal conservative. He has been consistent in his distaste for earmarks and other negative aspects of domestic discretionary spending. He also would be very strong on national defense and keeping American's safe.

What I have never liked about him is his "Maverick" status with the government media has always been when he has thrown conservatives under the bus ala the Gang of 14 deal on judicial appointments. I also think he would be more open to tax increases despite what he said in the campaign and he views Washington as the solution when it is usually the problem. I would have preferred Romney as the GOP nominee but given all the choices McCain would probably have been my second choice.

Yes, MM, Romney would have been the best choice as he was the most competent and level-headed. As to his Morman religion... did that get in the way in Massachusetts? So, how much do we pay for Obama's "religion"... as if we had a clue as to what that might be. I think Obama worships Obama.

still waiting on the evidence of Cheney's crimes. And all I hear is crickets.......just another example of the influence of the deranged netroots and loony leftists on otherwise thinking adults..

It seems us "wingnuts" are allways criticized for being mean-spirited, hateful and unsubstatiated name-callers. So, here's Hound calling Cheney a "Liar" and "Criminal" and she is called to the carpet and, all we get is crickets. Actually, it's not tht funny..... "pathetic" is more appropriate. Keep googling Hound, I'm sure you can come up with something.

Being a staunch conservative with the audacity and abillity to express those values without telepromters, excuses, or apologies.

I will admit however that his hunting accident did and still makes for some great humor....lol.
