Has any one heard how high Alabama Power expects the lake to get this weekend? Just want to make sure I don't need to get my boat out of the boathouse. Thanks.

Since the rains are not really through I dont think they can predict where it will crest. I would hope they will not let it get over 465....... But APCO is so unpredictable in how they control the water levels.

They said in the paper 463. But there sure is a lot of water yet to runn off. I'm just wondering if they will keep it up? Sure am looking forward to more water in the lake.

Found this article on Lake Martin's Homepage, thought it might answer your question.

Logan Martin Lake on the Coosa is expected to rise above its normal summer pool level of 465 feet sometime late today and is expected to reach a peak elevation just under 467 feet sometime Sunday or Monday. Alabama Power is working to maintain lake elevations at or below summer pool at its other storage reservoirs. However, the use of its flood easements above summer pool to manage high flows is always possible.
