Census worker just came by. I think this is the 4th one in 2 weeks. either handing out census forms, or updating addresses.
That dont count the other cars I've saw stopping at houses, pulling in and out of my drivway...I know they were census workers too. Wonder how much of our tax money they have spend on my street alone.
Whew...what a relief that the govenment is going to handle our
health care now!

If you don't mail your form back, they come to your house.
If people acted like responsible citizens, the government wouldn't have to treat them like irresponsible children.
You have no way of knowing if the other cars are census workers or not.

Hmmm...well, so far I havent got anything in the mail...but they have hung the census form on the door knob of every house I own.
And yes...with a lot of certainty, I can say those were census workers I watched pulling in mine, and others driveways...going from one house to another....I talked to one woman that asked me a few questions about the addresses....she told me she thought she would get out and check some addresses instead of sitting at home and makeing stuff up." her words".
But since you are sooooooooooo smart....and I'm just a stupid
irrisponsible child...I guess I should forget everything that
"I think I know" And let you tell me whats going on in my neighborhood.

I talked to the census worker who came by here . She said if the forms are not returned , workers will come back to see why the form was not returned. I told her they'd have to talk to the house or come back in July. She said, she makes 12 dollars an hour.

If you looked at the form that was left on your door, you'd know you are supposed to fill out it and mail it back. It says very clearly on the form that if you don't mail it back they will come to your house.
it's good you understand your limitations.

Now that they they have their hand in my hip pocket, I just want to wet my pants...

Do you normally ask everyone you meet what they earn an hour?
I know for a fact that the workers are not being paid $12.00 a hour.

Psycho means crazy, not stupid.
The forms were left here within the last 14 days.
Do you think, even if I would have filled them out that very day...and put them back in the mail the same day...that they would have it on record that I didnt return my forms filled out?
I think not...and to be honest, I think its been more like 7 to 10 days since they left the forms.
But I'll tell you what...I'm sure the government would hire you in a heartbeat....you are just what they are looking for...someone that takes little facts, forms the conclusion based on nothing but the voices they hear in their head, and calls someone else crazy.
By the way, I filled the forms out and mailed them back in 2 days after they were left.

Really? Hound knows all once again. Well guess what Hound, our receptionist Lisa whowas making $14 per hour just left for a job with the Census Bureau for more money....her words, not mine. So unless she is stupid and doesn't know that $12 per hour is less than $14 they are paying better than $14 per hour.
Honestly, this is just another example of you just making things up and pretending to be the definitive know it all. This is getting repetitive. Why do you do that when you know we will not let you get away with it? It is puzzling....but then again you voted for Obama and won't ever admit it was a mistake.

Census workers from central Alabama are paid between $12.00 and $12.25 per hour ($15 per hour in Birmingham). In Atlanta it is between $16 and $18.50 per hour. My census form asks for information as of April 1, 2010. Today is March 22,2010. Today, I received a post card that states "if you have already provided your census information". Tomorrow, I will call them and ask how I could return my form if I don't know who in my household may be in prison on April 1 and is not to be counted.
For those wih a lake house that is NOT your permanent address, did you check Question 7 "that you may live or stay somewhere else at a seasonal or second residence"?

Why are people visiting your house B4 April 1? Date census is due. My one and only other thought (of the day) other than, can I do 24 lunges with my PT and not die, is how much does it cost to send in the mail a card that says you are getting a census form; the census form; and another card that says you should have received it and make sure you send it in.. Why do we need to spend money on a card that says it's coming? At the risk of being called all sorts of names, I say, if you are a responsible person, you will send it in..thus, we have to have not one, probably two, but most likely three cards in the mail reminding us to send in our census. After that, we get a person knocking on our door and the government can say they have increased employment.

And when they pull their hand out of your pocket, they will notice no change in appearance or smell. So far I have received the "teaser" letter, the form itself asking for information that is accurate as of eight days from now and the followup postcard. Sorry U.S. Government, my crystal ball is broken even though I am sure that one of the stimulus programs was going to fix it (for free of course). So do I send the form with information that is possibly inaccurate because of your premature chiding, or do I wait until I can provide accurate info? Just more of our Government at work - and some wonder why a great many of us are totally pi$$ed off.

Well its kind of boring to the rest of us when you say things that aren't true and it takes us 2 seconds to find the facts. I have done that in two posts on this page let alone the multitude of other posts..That is the true yawner.......
I mean try something original beyond "I worked for the federal government so you must accept everything I say". No wonder we hold those that lived inside the beltway with such low regard......they live in a fact-free world where what they want to be true is more important than what is actually true and represents reality.
