I think that these numbers are correct.
1. Our part of the national debt in 2010 is $52,000 per family. 2. With Obamacare, the number rises to $172,000 in 2010.
This amount is in addition to the debt that we owe for mortgages, automobiles, etc. Anyone who deliberately jeopardizes this nation with this debt load is a criminal and needs to be removed from office via impeachment or the election process.
When I hear that AT&T is going to include $1B dollars for the first quarter of 2012; Caterpillar, $100M; and John Deere, $150M, I am further appalled.
I am also upset that the CBO is now saying that the cost is much higher that originally thought. And this is the agency that is supposed to be independent of politics. But, garbage in means garbage out. You cannot make a purse of of a sow's ear.
Not only will these companies account for the higher cost, their employees will suffer in that their coverage will be reduced and pharmaceutical coverage may be totally eliminated from their benefits. Do you think that these companies are thinking about hiring new employees. I think not.
I have a friend who works for Microsoft and he recently received a letter that their benefits will be reduced in 2013. He is upset.
Again, tell me why I should not be concerned for myself, my children, and my grandchildren because of the actions of this administration.

LO, no reason for concern. The growth in national debt is just a number, easily paid for with ObamaDollars. Companies forecasting the tremendous increase in expense are clearly misleading people ahead of an increase in prices to pad their profits. Comrade Waxman will prove that in hearings next month. The National Debt is just a meaningless factor in our march to make everyone feel good about efforts to equalize outcome for all except the elites, regardless of contribution. Taxes on business are the way to move forward so real people don't have to pay.
But seriously, AT&T, Deere, Cat, MS, ALL READ THE BILL, all understood the impact, and all are taking measures to protect their future success, as well as fully comply with SEC regs. The objective of the Marxist house committee leaders is truly redistribution of wealth. The objective of the current administration, in place largely because of the efforts of George Soros, and "swooners" voting for change, without a clue as to the historically stated path the then candidate intended to take, is to crash the currency. Working in tandem, they have put us on a dangerous path. Don't be surprised if last weeks news about the current state of Social Security becomes a crisis to accelerate the Andy Stern/SEIU program of central gummint confiscation and sharing of retirement savings.
Here is what must happen NOW. This HCR bill must be repealed. Illegals must be sent packing, and walk away from NAFTA. Ethanol mandates must be lifted, and farm subsidies suspended. Federal and State spending must be rolled back to, and held at, 2003 levels. Let the Bush tax cuts expire. All surplus monies must be used to retire accumulated debt. Simultaneously build nuclear power plants while opening up/incentivizing domestic oil drilling, keeping more dollars at home. Once we attain stability in our checkbook, and are less reliant on bond sales, adopt and implement 21st Century "Fair Trade" Policies.
537 people are directly responsible for the current situation, and we have the opportunity in November to hold 468 of them accountable. Don't be surprised if, as the sleeping giant of a silent majority continues to stir, the FCC reimposes the "fairness doctrine". I pray daily that I will be proven wrong with the next thought but, as history tends to repeat itself, I would not be surprised with a suspension of some constitutional rights ahead of an election moving unfavorably for the current people in positions of power.

You are dead on. It is all part of the Cloward/Pivin strategy. Collapse the current system under it's own weight so that the supposed socialist utopia can rise from the ashes.
I emplore each of you to google Cloward/Pivin and read what you find. It is the 'blueprint' for the hopey changy thing.
I am hearing ans seeing flags at half mast along with being turned upside down. I stated weeks ago that if it passed I would hang my flag up side down. I kinda like the half mast thing too. If any of you don't know, a flag upside down signals distress.
