Does anybody know if there are rules about pumping water from the lake to water the lawn? At one time I had a nice stand of St Augustine and through the drought years it has about gone away. I am thinking about getting a pump going with regular feeding and watering. Don't want to get on anybodys "do-do" list.

I do know of ARCO or COE regulations that prohibit it (unless you own a sod farm.

I don't know what the regs are, but during the drought I saw several long lines running from the lake to a pump.

APCo controls water removal from the lake and they allow residential irrigation from the lake without any notice or permit. Have at it.

Thanks, I have an old pump the previous owner used. Now I have to figure out just how he did what he did.
