Yesterday at aprox 4:30 we were in my 22ft pontoon traveling from the bridge to no ware to the Ridge marina, when I spotted a jet ski coming at me on the port side at aprox a right angle and a high rate of speed. I took the boat out of gear and then saw a second jet ski approaching on starboard at the same angle and at high speed. Things happened fast at this point, they they both got within 15 to 20 ft of my pontoon on a collision course and then made a turn away from my boat creating a huge wake on both sides of the boat soaking everyone on the boat and blasted one of the women's Maui Jim sun glasses off her head and overboard. I was blinded by the wave but think the port jet ski came within probably 5ft of the pontoon still at high speed, if the jet ski had skidded anymore or broke free it would have landed in my boat. This attack was absolutely planed
Was anyone else subject to this type of attack

I haven't seen such a thing, and I'm guessing the surprise kept you from getting the numbers or pictures.

By the time I recovered both Jet Skis were several hundred yards away. I went after them but gave up quickly, I wasn't going to catch them in a pontoon. I was as much embaracesed than anything as I had been bragging on Lake Martin to our guests...then this happen....oh well stil heading out today

It's too bad things like that happen, and the offenders will get caught if they keep it up. This type of event might be a good thing to call into the marine police right after it happens for the new Lake Martin Alert system, or at least notify the MP's to look out for it happening again.

Reloaded about 500 rounds of 9mm this past week. Its a relaxing 45 minutes every other evening or so. Mark my choice a Beretta.

I have had boats overtake me while riding my jet ski and been nearly capsized. It is not the craft but the irresponsible individual controlling it. That being the case, ban all people from the lake:) There are laws to prevent these types of things from occurring, some people just do not care. Ban PWCs and they will just get a boat.

Turn hard to port (or starbord) and full throttle. Try to whack one of them with a paddle. That's not road rage is it??
