Surprise! Surprise! What about the $500B savings for Obama's Healthcare Bill passed by Congress that included cuts in Medicare. Now, the rubber is hitting the road. If Dr's fees are cut by 20%, who gets screwed? Seniors!

Obama and his administration and Democrats in the House and Senate have pulled the biggest scam ever with an intent to provide medical care to those who do not work, have never worked, and do not pay taxes. But, they do vote.

Pelosi said recently that Americans can now pursue our ambitions to be artist, sculptor, etc. and not have to worry about medical coverage. I guess the option now for Seniors is to die fast.

Thought the nutless congress had already put off the 20% cut in physician's pay right after the o-BAMAcare bill passed. And that was the third time the cut had been extended. Maybe the idiot boys counted it in the bill, but it's been scheduled for a couple of years.

If you would read the article you would see that this has been a problem since 2003. Both parties have refused to seek a permanent solution. Every year the Docs threatened to refuse Medicare patients and congress agrees to a modest increae in payments. The same will happen this year and, hopefully, Obama will seek a permanent solution.

It is similar to the alternative tax that was initially passed to force those with high non taxable income to pay an income tax. However, each year congress has to do a patch to avoid more taxpayers being caught up in paying the alternative tax.

Maybe, some day we will have some in congress who will act in the best interest of the people and pass a permanent fix. Both parties are too busy grandstanding.

Everyone with half a brain knew the $500B in savings was never going to happen and Obama was lying. But think about where we are in this upside down world. We have the Dems lying about cuts to Medicare and the GOP taking them to task for it to score political points. There was never going to be those savings because the sad reality is that doctors will in fact stop seeing Medicare patients when the reimbursements get so low it no longer makes financial sense so no politician of either party has the guts to make it happen. This is the self imposed rationing that was predicted if the cuts would actually happen, and they never do. What a farce and just one more reason why government should be limited.

So what is worse, Obama/Reid/Pelosi spending us into oblivion with their lies about cuts to Medicare or the GOP making a stink about cuts to Medicare that they know would never happen anyway? Both disgust me but one will actually destroy our country.

I suggest you look at what Paul Ryan has suggested in his recovery plan to address all these out of control entitlement programs. To me it is both workable and makes sense which is probably why it will be demagogued to death by the Dems and ignored by the RINOs.

I'm hoping the cuts breeze right through (looks like they probably will this time.) Why not pay for healthcare with cash? It will serve the purpose of limiting healthcare to those who really want it and are willing to pay for it, and it could help get rid of many of the weaker and non-productive members in this country who tend to slow down the wonderful governmental machine we have created.
