Good morning. Do any of you guys know of someone who could remove a snake from our property today? Any local pest control company that deals with this type critter? Referrals appreciated.

They are just part of the biology of the area..... for each one you see there a dozens more that don't like seeing you any more than you like seeing them. When I see snakes, I usually just run them off into the woods and that's the end of it (most are harmless). I don't care much for water moccasins, so they get introduced to the end of my shovel. If you have an actual nest that is close to human activity and producing poisonous offspring, grab a shovel or a 12 gauge....It's quick, easy, and cheap.

Do you think AC KT could be implying a snake may be in his house? That's a whole different story.

in the house I'd use a hammer, fire poker, or a 410 (for heavy artillery) on the pit vipers (cotton mouths, copperheads, and rattle snakes).....if it's not one of those, get a pair of leather gloves and toss it into the woods.
