At long last, I finally have edited and uploaded my aquapalooza video. It is pretty short, but should at least document that I was there and looking for the forum crowd! :)!
It is a short video, but maybe I filmed you.
Thanks again to Sea Ray and Russell Marine for footing the bill for this event. I can't speak for everyone, but Sea Ray has taken a major step forward for me in brand loyalty.
Obviously, this is starting to rival the big 3 (Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day) as major Lake Martin weekends.
What does the forum think? Do y'all see a day where Aquapalooza attracts the same amount of people to the lake as say, Memorial Day does?
After a few talks with local businesses, they report as much sales as from last year, even though it wasn't the signature event and only (depending who you ask) there were 25% fewer people. My theory is that it was more local folks, who realized you could pop in for the day, and therefore they bought more things locally as opposed to tanking / gearing up from afar.
