Ha, just ask my daughter, Madison if she knew what TANG was. She gave me some kind of deer in the headlight look and ask, "Is it Wine". LMAO I am headed to the store. Will post results later. Oh, how old am I getting? We went through the Potted Meat thing a couple of weeks ago. Things that make you go HHHHMMMMM>>>. Viennas' did not go over very well either. Just sayin'.

for heaven's sake, don't suggest to her that vienna sausages and tang go together or we all will have something new to talk about lets move on from here quickly!!!! Did I tell you that my boat is running great with no problems since I got that fuel separator on there? I am glad I made that small investment...I would not want to get water in my gas, carburetors, and cylinders to blow up my engine. that would make for a bad day.

Although not as uncommon as Whoopie Pie, today's kids never saw the Moon Pie when it was as big as a saucer.

Nostalgic Story Inserted Here:  For those of you who knew Arnold Gothard from the Real Island area, I grew up charging Moon Pies and RC Cola's on his account at the marina.  He told me when I first got old enough to take the boat out by myself (before you had to be 16 and everybody had a John Boat by the age of 10) that it didn't matter how many Moon Pies and RC's were charged on his account.  He said he felt like every kid on the lake deserved a snack while they were out on the water, and vowed never to tell the parental figures.  I think we darn near broke the man.

When we had a group together drinking beer, we would each have our own "pull tab chain" to see who got braging rights - longer was better. :-)

Makes me nostalgic for my P.O.S. '69 Firebird with the Thrush "muffler" and the 8-track tape deck. How about that exotic Coors beer......forbidden to be shipped East of the Mississippi River back in the day. And this whole thread got started because of Tang????
