to all interested parties, this will be the last year chanahatchee creek hunting club will be able to hunt, running dogs on the lionel weil property. after that it is all being turned over to alabama forever wild. if anybody is interested in taking part in this dying southern heritage the dues are $450 for new members this includes all hunting rights to 1900 acres through march 2011. for more info you can contact terry (beartrapper) smith. 334-558-1007 if no answer please leave message. this is non profit, the reason i'm posting this is i know there are other hunters on here and i have no other way of contacting them.

Definite not interested in dog hunting, but am looking for a club to join around Dadeville/Alexander City area. Probably only hunt 5/6 times. Just when we go to lake during the winter.

As long as you have no restrictions/covenants. However, your neighbors might not appreciate the loud noise. If you are a bow hunter, they will never hear you. The only thing is that bow shot deer seem to travel far.

It is also illegal to hunt with a rifle within 1500 feet of a house, and to track wounded deer on someone else's property without written permission. Other than that you can hunt around the lake.
