It wouldn't surprise me to see some countries expel some of our diplomats to save face.  This is a major embarassment for the US --- no, not the Obama Administration... the country of the USA.

But this isn't something that he did.  This is our country being attacked from an outside predator.  I'm not even sure what could be done about it.  It is what it is, but it is not good.

I actually think this will be a welcome distraction for Obama to get the focus off his dropping approval ratings (now down to 39%), the ongoing struggle in the economy, the mid-term shellacking, the constant stream of bad news about Obamacare, the administration's foreign affairs fecklessness (whatever happened to the Mideast peace effort anyway?), the thousands of complaints about TSA groping (not to mention the tens of thousands of job applicants by sex offenders actually getting paid to do what they were sent to prison for doing), etc., etc., etc.

Actually these are the types of communication that go on all the time, and I'd be willing to bet the diplomatic corps of just about every nation has similar dirty laundry.  Its just that we are the target because we are the biggest and strongest.

The truly treasonous one in this case is the person who swore to protect the information, yet leaked it to these dirt bags.  As far as I am concerned there is no punishment too severe.  Death would be too light a sentence.

I also think we should arrange a terrible accident for the head of Wikileaks....yes, we would be accused of doing it and branded as terrible people, but it would also send an explicit warning of consequences to those considering such acts in the future.

MM,

Get this.....Got tickets to the Pens-Ottawa game last Friday at the Consol Energy Center, took the whole fam.  Didn't know that full body pat downs were part of sporting arena entrance protocol.  I wouldn't have believed it had I not been frisked with my hands held high.  Awesome arena though, not one bad seat in the entire house!

Nice.  Beats a Steeler's game these days for sure.  Has to be the worst 8-3 team in the NFL.  If they don't get their act together on offense they will probably lose 3-4 games before the end of the regular season.

O and D line injuries have killed their rhythm.  Look at the Falcons.  Not one player on IR all season.  9-2 .  O and D lines have been intact since day 1 of camp.  But seriously, I challenge you to find me a nicer arena in all of the continental US that beats Consol.  Get in there next time you are in the Burgh!  I had second tier seats at Phillips two weeks ago for a Hawks/Jazz game.  One level below the private boxes on the other side.   Was sitting under an overhang, couldn't see the scoreboard and had to watch closed circuit TV's for highlights.  Never happens in Consol.  Every seat is out in the open, close to the action because the upper level seats are so steep.  Acoustics are phenomenal.

You are right and have expressed my thoughts, exactly.
